Karen Kimbler joined Mary’s Place in July of 2023 as a part-time employee, handling accounting and grant administration. Prior to that she served as a volunteer at Mary’s Place for two years as a Case Worker and generally assisting with financial projects.

Karen’s background includes many years in manufacturing accounting, planning & controls with Mobil Chemical/ExxonMobil, and as a Village Treasurer for the Village of Spencerport and in Scottsville, NY. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from SUNY Albany, and her Master of Business Administration in Business Management from Rochester Institute of Technology.

Karen often volunteers with several other organizations, and helps other non-profits find ways to meet their volunteer needs. She appreciates the important work being done at Mary’s Place, and enjoys her opportunities to give back to the Rochester community.
